California Pastors Conference Tremendous Success!

If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will
I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chron. 7:14

09.09.06 California Pastors Conference was a tremendous success as the Holy Spirit moved in PRAYER, REPENTANCE & UNITY. Pastors & leaders representing numerous congregations/denominations, cities/regions, and cultural groups humbly gathered seeking REVIVAL in the Church. The spirit of 2 Chronicles 7:14 was clearly evident during the course of the conference.


The Lord, through Pastor Alec Rowlands, spoke to us concerning the need for an awakening in the Body of Christ and what would happen when any congregation is actively pursuing God's mandate of prayer and obedience. Pastor Alec himself witnessed revivals in both his father's church in South Africa and his own in Michigan. Currently his home state of Washington is the recipient of the beginning of God's outpouring as approximately 1000 pastors are connected through prayer and repentance. Many responded to Rev. Ray Bringham's call to repentance. The reading of Psalm 32 moved many pastors and ministry leaders to turn from: Fear of man to fear of God; prayerlessness to sweet intimacy and communion with Jesus; and bitterness towards others to embrassing/accepting one another through the power of the Holy Spirit.


There was a clear sense by many that our Lord was pleased because we chose to be ONE with Him and ONE another as Jesus prayed in John 17. Imagine what the Lord can and will do in and through us if we continue to seek Him in humble unity!? He will esteem His Church when we are HUMBLE, CONTRITE & OBEDIENT TO HIS WORD. (Isaiah 66:2)

A special thanks to ALL who prayed and served in many ways to invite and allow the Lord to move freely on 09.09.06. May we continue to KNOW HIM and MAKE HIM KNOWN.

The launching of CASA has gained a wide range support throughout the Body of Christ. As of today... Assembly of God, Baptist, Calvary Chapel, Covenant, Four Square, Lutheran, Praise Chapel, Presbyterian, Messianic, Methodist, Reform, Seventh Day Adventist, Vineyard and Independent/Non-denominational Pastors of various racial/ethnic groups have pledged their support. Dear California Pastor:

On this day in 1776, our Founders declared independence and called us to become a separate nation under God. Decades earlier, God first gave His vision of freedom to our pastors which sparked the First Great Awakening, inspiring the colonialists to seek freedom to know Jesus and to make Him known. 230 years later we find ourselves as a people very different from what God envisioned. And as a pastor and minister of the Gospel, you are well aware of the crisis that our nation is facing today.

You are invited to a full day conference of California pastors on Saturday, September 9, 2006 in the Los Angeles area ( Coast Christian Fellowship
4000 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance, CA 90505 ). This gathering of shepherds will launch the California Sound the Alarm (CASA) based on Joel 2:17…

Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the temple porch and the alter. Let them say, “Spare your people, O Lord. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”

We the Church of California as well as America have much to repent. Because of our prayerlessness and compromises with the fallen world, the Lord has given us a nation that He warned about in 2 Chronicles 7. We have turned away and forsaken the decrees and commands He has given us and many in the Church are serving other gods and worshipping them rather than ONE TRUE GOD. However, in verse 14 He promises…

IF My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wick ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Because God’s words are true and He ALWAYS keeps His promises, He will “esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at (His) word.” (Isaiah 66:2) When we the Bride of Christ seeks and obeys Him, and fulfills John 17 by truly being ONE BODY, God will restore His presence in our homes, congregations, schools, governments, courts, and businesses. He will reverse the culture of death and provide protection to our unborn. He will honor our marriages and keep them as one man and one woman. He will reverse the declining rate of true believers among our youth (which is now heading towards only 4%).


The purpose of CASA is to promote pastors to call pastors to:

1. Grow deeper in their personal commitment to seek the Lord in prayer, repentance, spiritual renewal and battle for the soul of our nation.

2. Call their congregations to corporate and individual prayer for spiritual awakening in the Church of California.

3. Join the Sound the Alarm network for regular calls to prayer and united action to expand God’s Kingdom throughout California.


Please set aside Saturday, September 9, 2006 and plan to attend this most critical conference. Several national spiritual leaders have been invited to address, encourage and challenge the California pastors to prayer, repentance and revival.
